Date of Birth: ad 15 City and Empire of birth: Rome of Rome Date of Death: ad 59 Famous Family Members (if any): Mother of Nero, grandniece to Tiberius, sister to Caligula
In 59 CE Agrippina got executed by her own son. After many tries to take his mothers life he finally got what he wanted. The reason he wanted her dead was because she was telling him how to rule because he was only 17 years old when he ruled as an emperor, he got tired of his mother telling him what to do and he wanted her to stop so the easiest way to do that is to kill her.
At thirteen she married a man with the name of Gnaeus Domitius Ahenoborbus and that's when she had her son Nero. In 49 bc she married her uncle, Claudius, also an emperor. To make them a "family" Agrippina thought it was the best thing for him to adopt her son, Nero. Agrippina murdered her husband Claudius in 54 CE with poisonous mushrooms.
When i researched information on Agrippina i was surprised. i was surprised because of how many important people she is related to and how she got killed by her son after many attempted murders by him. I think future kids will enjoy this too because
of all the relations with important people and how her son murdered her. She is a very interesting person i learned a lot more than i knew when i first took notes on her in class.
